THE STORY BEHIND JIHAD SABBAH JEWELRY
Beauty and Value
I have always been fascinated with making musical instruments, specifically the feather that plays the Oud. In 2016, while I was creating my own Oud, I requested that the crafter add mother-of-pearls as a decorative touch. However, the crafter did not have any mother of pearls on hand. This sparked my interest and I began searching for my own mother of pearls to use. I ended up giving the crafter three mother of pearls for my Oud but kept three for myself. I loved the way they looked, and that inspired me to create my first piece of jewelry - the necklace in the shape of Oud.
This sparked a passion for creating more jewelry and I began learning more about the craft. My friends at university loved my work and started requesting jewelry for themselves. I kept experimenting and crafting, always looking for new resources to improve my skills.
Today I love to work with mother-of-pearl, gemstones, silver, gold, copper, and brass. and I continue to learn and grow in this field.
